Started to get issues already....

Ok I am freezing up after a little while so its getting frustrating... not sure if its my machine or the game itself...

Next as I have said, I guess because its a new game its full of people who want to get as many points as possible (me included) but at the moment the few servers I have been on is just packed with spawn killers!!!...

Lastly I can find AG' server very quickly but I cant add to favourites!..
I dare say there shall be some more issues as it goes along... but wheres the first patch?

I had a connection issue when first loading the game, I tried to connect to our server & other servers but it kept freezing on the please wait box so had to close via task manager a few times but then after a few attempts it seemed ok? ... was getting a bit worried!

There will unfortunately always be spawn killers! In the ag server I think if admins are on they will probably give them a polite warning and if after that they still take the piss Im sure they will eventually be kicked for playing like a camel?!

The server will show in your histroy tab after you've played on it so that should help

I think cause it's conquest mode you attract base campers might be an idea to change the game mode to rush for the first few weeks maybe?

Not sure about the freezing up is it only in multiplayer or does it happen in single player aswell?

only troubles i have is adding favs,server browser is very slow and getting disconected from servers.

oh and just finding a server that isnt full

Think the whole world got it already... how hard is it to get into AG'???

It takes ages to find any servers, almost all of them say either no ping or 999 ping. If I try to connect, 95% of the time it either does nothing or gives a 'cannot connect' message. On the few occasions where I have connected I have an astronomic ping and can't even approach playing. I've even walked up behind snipers, put an entire clip into their back, just to be shown a kill cam in which I'm shooting thin air until someone walks over and stabs me.

Totally broken. Very disapointed. I'll be back on when either when I get a new rig or when they patch it.

Single player runs with no issues.

Very old BF2 guns.. need a whole clip to kill someone!... which is annoying!.... But hey apart from the freezing when it runs it goes quite well!!!>>>

When you next start BFBC2 you should get this message (Steam users can update through Steam). If you have trouble updating by running the game itself go to \Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield Bad Company 2 - BETA and run BFBC2BetaUpdater.exe as Administrator.

Aiming high always helps Not had any freezing in the beta or the retail version so far I did get rubber banding in the beta but that seemed to get fixed.

As I said in the other thread it's the opening weekend and EA have never managed to get a launch right ever!

I'm sure they'll sort it out eventually

Had some initial problems joining servers for the first hour, then after that had no problems since except occasionally the unlock progression doesnt come up properly.

Not ran into spawn killers yet, not sure how you can spawn kill when you can choose where you want to spawn!
